Draft — pending legal review
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Title Shield stores when you run a check, why, how long it is kept and how to reach us about your data. Title Shield is a preliminary risk check and does not provide a legal opinion.
What we collect
A completed check is stored anonymously: only the answer options you selected, the calculated result zone and the version and date of the rules used. We do not store your name, uploaded documents, free text, IP address or browser data, and the time is coarsened to the date. An abandoned (unfinished) check is not stored, even partially. If you later choose to leave a contact for a detailed review, that contact is stored separately, only with your explicit consent, together with a snapshot of your result zone — never a link back to the anonymous statistics.
Why we collect it
Anonymous results are used only to measure coverage and calibrate the check (how many checks end in each risk zone). A contact you leave is used only to get in touch and prepare your detailed review — nothing else.
How long we keep it
- Anonymous raw answer sets: up to 18 months, then deleted automatically.
- Aggregated counters per risk zone: kept indefinitely (they contain no personal data).
- A contact you leave: kept until the lead is handled, and no longer than 12 months without renewed consent, then deleted automatically. You can also ask us to delete it at any time.
Privacy and deletion requests
To ask about your data or request deletion of a contact you left, write to us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. We receive these messages as ordinary email; the product itself does not send mail. Anonymous results remain, as they contain no personal data.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interest under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) to collect anonymous statistics without consent, because the data cannot identify you. A contact you leave is processed only on the basis of your explicit consent, for the narrow purpose of contact and preparing your review. (Draft basis — to be confirmed by a licensed Thai lawyer.)
Where data is stored
Data is processed and stored in the region (Singapore) to meet Thai PDPA data-residency requirements.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Only the technical storage needed to remember your chosen language for the session is used.
